Sri Swami Samarth is the third incarnation of Sri Datta Maharaj in complete Brahma form. He has given darshan in the form in which the devotees saw him. Some saw him in the form of Shri Vithumauli, some in the form of Shri Lord Vishnu and some in the form of Bhagwati Devi.

When Swami Maharaj first came to Akkalkot, he installed himself on the katta of Khandoba’s temple. He performed many miracles during his stay. He showered love on many from the king to the ranks.
